Austin Sunshine

This pastel painting was done by a local artist, Regina Calton Burchett. I really like this style of painting because it's bringing together many different concepts including a city back round. The subject matter also appeals to me because of the sun and the birds and the music notes, it adds a relaxing feel to the painting. The colors of the pastels were a good choice because the cool colors of the blue birds and back round colors ties in with the warm colors of the sun.
